Inside My Gear Closet: Lightly Used Outdoor Clothing for Sale

A look inside my gear closet—lightly used outdoor clothing that’s been worn for real adventures, photoshoots, and travel, now listed on Poshmark and eBay.

Why This Post Exists

If you spend enough time outdoors—and behind a camera—you end up cycling through a lot of gear. Some pieces get worn hard, some only make it out for a shoot or two, and others never quite find their moment. This post is a look inside my gear closet, where I’m selling lightly used outdoor clothing that’s been worn for real adventures and shoots.

I’m clearing out a portion of my gear closet and passing along quality outdoor clothing that still has plenty of life left. Nothing here is random, and nothing is beat up. It’s just good gear that deserves more trail time than it’s getting with me.

What’s in My Closet Right Now (Lightly Used Outdoor Clothing)

Most of what I’m selling falls into a few simple buckets:

  • Jackets & insulation layers that were lightly worn or used for photos
  • Trail and travel pants that didn’t quite earn a permanent slot
  • Technical pieces rotated out as my kit evolved
  • New-with-tags items bought for content or sizing, never used

This is practical, wearable outdoor clothing—stuff you’d actually reach for on a road trip, a shoulder-season hike, or a casual day outside.

Sizing note: Most of the pieces you’ll see are in my size—30×30 pants, designed for a 5’8″ athletic build. If you’re built similarly, there’s a good chance a lot of this will fit you really well. Individual listings always include exact sizing details.

Condition & Transparency (No Guesswork)

I’m picky about how I list things. Every item clearly notes:

  • How often it was worn
  • Any signs of use (if there are any)
  • Exact condition, honestly described

If something has a flaw, it’s mentioned. If it’s basically new, that’s clear too. I’d rather under-promise and over-deliver. The image above is from a professional shoot where I’m wearing one of the pieces I’m selling—an example of how this gear was actually used, not just tried on.

If you’re putting together or refining your kit, I’ve shared more detailed gear breakdowns and packing lists here on Adventure Dispatch as well.

Why Buy Lightly Used Outdoor Clothing?

Aside from saving money (always nice), buying secondhand outdoor gear just makes sense:

  • Better value on premium materials
  • Less waste, more miles on good gear
  • Proven brands, not fast fashion

Outdoor clothing is built to be used. This just gives it another chapter.

Final Thought

This isn’t a sale pitch—it’s just a heads-up. If you’re already looking for outdoor clothing and want a solid deal on gear that’s been well cared for, feel free to take a look.

And if nothing jumps out? All good. I just wanted to open the closet door and share.
